Bayern Munich And Ajax Proposed For Opening Match

According to the announcement, Bayern Munich and Ajax are scheduled to feature in the event marking the stadium’s official opening.

The proposed friendly would bring two prominent European clubs to Nairobi and provide international attention for the new facility.

However, further details concerning the match, including confirmation from the two clubs and arrangements for the event, were not provided in the announcement.

Talanta Stadium is one of the major infrastructure projects designed to strengthen Kenya’s ability to host international sporting events.

Its planned inauguration would mark an important milestone in the country’s preparations for AFCON 2027.
