God’s City International Church (GCIC) will host its highly anticipated Special Power Touch Night on February 20, 2026, at the Velodrome, Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The event, themed “All-Round Settlement,” is expected to attract thousands of worshippers from across Nigeria and beyond. Organisers say the programme will focus on spiritual revival, healing, deliverance and personal breakthroughs.
Founded by Pastor Matthew Morakinyo and Pastor Mary Morakinyo, GCIC centres its mission on deliverance, rescue, restoration and what it describes as “Mobile Fire” outreach.

Powerful Testimonies Stir Anticipation
Ahead of the programme, church members have shared testimonies they say reflect the theme of restoration.
One member recounted how his son, Samuel Ayomide, survived a near-fatal accident. Doctors rushed the boy to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), prompting panic within the family.
“My wife called me in tears,” he said. “We immediately reached out to our pastor, who prayed and declared that Samuel’s life would not end prematurely.”
He said the boy recovered fully, describing the moment as one of deep gratitude.
The same member also spoke about his own health challenge. Doctors diagnosed him with severe kidney failure and advised urgent dialysis. According to him, his creatinine levels had risen sharply, and swelling affected his body.
“Doctors told me my kidneys were failing,” he said. “After targeted prayers at church, follow-up tests showed normal kidney function. The only issue detected was malaria.”
Organisers say such accounts reinforce the programme’s focus on holistic restoration.
Worship, Music and Prophetic Ministration
The night will feature gospel ministers including Leke Gospel, Steve Crown, and Prospa Ochimana, alongside the GCIC Mass Choir and other invited worship leaders.
Church leaders say the programme will combine worship sessions, biblical teaching and prophetic prayers aimed at addressing spiritual, health and family concerns.
Open Invitation to Worshippers
Pastor Mary Morakinyo emphasised that the event remains open to everyone seeking spiritual direction.
“We want people from all walks of life to attend,” she said. “Our goal is for worshippers to leave with renewed faith and confidence.”
Pastor Matthew Morakinyo added that previous editions recorded testimonies of healing, financial breakthroughs and restored relationships.
“This programme brings hope to people facing real-life challenges,” he said.
Why This Event Matters
Faith-based gatherings continue to draw large audiences in Nigeria, especially amid economic and social pressures. GCIC officials say increasing attendance reflects a growing demand for spiritual support and community connection.
Organisers have provided contact lines for enquiries and registration: 08072624125 and 08034801387.
As anticipation builds, GCIC says the Special Power Touch Night aims to deliver what it calls “all-round settlement” to attendees who participate in faith.
