As part of Nigeria’s investor engagement at the 2026 Real Estate Future Forum (RFF 2026) in Riyadh, Minister of Housing and Urban Development Ahmed Dangiwa held a high-level bilateral meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing (MOMRAH), Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail.
During the discussion, Dangiwa showcased Nigeria’s Renewed Hope Housing Programme, emphasizing its scale, structured delivery, and alignment with private capital. He also presented the Building Materials Manufacturing Hubs initiative, aimed at boosting local production, reducing construction costs, creating jobs, and strengthening Nigeria’s construction value chain.
“Nigeria is positioning housing not only as a social good but also as a driver of economic growth, industrialisation, and investment,” Dangiwa said. He expressed interest in collaborating with Saudi developers, financiers, manufacturers, and technology partners.
Al-Hogail welcomed Nigeria’s reform-driven housing agenda and noted areas of synergy in large-scale housing delivery, construction technologies, and local manufacturing, pledging support for engagement with relevant Saudi stakeholders.
The meeting signals growing opportunities for bilateral collaboration to address Nigeria’s housing demand while creating long-term economic value.
