“Six whole years! Married to this wonderful man, and I can’t help but feel so proud of how we have allowed God to shape us, mould us, and surrender to Him in our marriage,” Khafi wrote. “We have loved, we have fought, we have laughed, we have cried, and most of all we have tried! Through it all, God has held us, and I am so incredibly grateful.”
She further admitted to feeling cautious about discussing marriage publicly due to online scrutiny, noting that while she does not consider herself an expert compared to couples married for decades, marriage remains one of her favorite subjects.
Addressing her husband directly, Khafi praised Gedoni for his patience, leadership, and unwavering support, referring to him as her “own Emmanuel” and wishing for their union to endure for a century.

Khafi, a former London-based police officer, and Gedoni, a fashion entrepreneur, established a strong personal connection inside the Big Brother Naija house in 2019 that quickly grew into a lasting romance outside the show.
After Gedoni proposed during a trip to Cape Verde in December 2019, the couple officially tied the knot in 2020 following an initial delay caused by international pandemic restrictions.
Since their wedding, the couple has welcomed two children and built a family life together, remaining one of the few reality show pairs to successfully transition from on-screen romance to long-term marriage.
