Social media critic claims substance addiction fueled relationship therapist’s financial crimes, vows to intervene in legal battles.

Controversial social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has alleged that Lagos auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, known as IVD, introduced self-acclaimed relationship expert Blessing Okoro, alias Blessing CEO, to hard drugs.

In a video shared across his Instagram page on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, the critic made the explosive claims while offering a new explanation for Blessing CEO’s ongoing legal troubles and financial fraud trials.

Critic Links Substance Addiction to Alleged Financial Crimes

Addressing his followers online, VeryDarkMan claimed to have recently uncovered details regarding Blessing CEO’s personal life and her relationship with IVD, alleging that both individuals became heavy substance users.

He asserted that the financial demands of sustaining hard drug use drove the relationship blogger to defraud members of the public through bogus online fundraising campaigns and property deals.

“I recently discovered that IVD introduced Blessing CEO to drugs,” VeryDarkMan stated in the video broadcast. “They were injecting themselves with drugs, which makes a lot of sense if you look at how things unfolded. She needed money to maintain that lifestyle, and that was why she went about defrauding people.”

The activist claimed that the physical and behavioral changes exhibited by the relationship influencer over recent months were direct consequences of substance dependence.

Intervention Planned Despite Legal Battles

Despite making the severe allegations, VeryDarkMan disclosed his intention to assist in securing Blessing CEO’s release from custody so she can undergo proper rehabilitation and medical care.

Blessing CEO was previously remanded in custody over an alleged ₦69.15 million property fraud case and a separate ₦36 million scam trial involving false Stage 4 cancer claims before being granted bail conditions by the courts in July 2026.

VeryDarkMan stressed that while her actions against victims were unacceptable, addressing the underlying substance dependency remains crucial to resolving the situation permanently.

Neither IVD nor legal representatives for Blessing CEO have issued an official response to VeryDarkMan’s public statements as of the time of reporting.
