Stefanie Kim Ladewig, the eight-month pregnant partner of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, has reportedly escaped injury following a three-vehicle road accident in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Turkish media reports said the 26-year-old German-born model underwent precautionary medical examinations because of her pregnancy and was subsequently discharged from hospital.
The accident reportedly occurred at about 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, within Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district.
The collision involved an SUV driven by Ladewig, a light commercial vehicle and another SUV travelling in the opposite direction. All three vehicles reportedly sustained damage, but no injuries were recorded.
How The Accident Happened
According to Türkiye’s Demirören News Agency (DHA), Ladewig was driving an SUV when she entered a bend and collided with a light commercial vehicle driven by a person identified as Paris T.
The impact reportedly caused her to lose control of the SUV, which then struck another vehicle approaching from the opposite direction.
The collision damaged all three vehicles. However, Turkish media reports indicated that the occupants escaped without physical injuries.
The reports did not provide further details about the cause of the accident or indicate whether authorities planned to bring charges against any of the drivers.
Pregnant Model Taken To Hospital
Ladewig reportedly visited a private hospital in the Maslak area of Istanbul’s Sariyer district for precautionary examinations following the crash.
The medical checks were intended to assess her condition and identify any possible complications associated with the accident.
She was subsequently reported to be in good condition and discharged after the examinations.
The reports did not indicate that Ladewig or her unborn child had suffered any harm. However, the account did not cite a separate medical statement confirming their condition.
