Nollywood actress and African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate in Abia State, Doris Ogala, has publicly challenged Apostle Johnson Suleman over his recent comments praising Governor Alex Otti’s administration.
Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, recently spoke positively about Otti’s performance and suggested that the governor could secure another term without extensive campaigning.
Ogala, who is contesting the Abia governorship, reacted to the comments in posts shared on Instagram, questioning the cleric’s assessment of conditions in the state.
She particularly challenged Suleman over an alleged claim that Abia enjoys 24-hour electricity, arguing that the situation experienced by residents does not match that description.
Ogala Questions Suleman’s Abia Claims
Ogala questioned how Suleman could make statements about conditions in Abia while, according to her, he had not visited the state.
She also challenged the cleric’s assertion that his comments about Otti were not intended as political campaigning.
According to reports quoting her Instagram posts, Ogala accused Suleman of indirectly supporting Otti ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
“How dare you come to say that there’s 24-hour light in Abia, and you claim you weren’t campaigning,” she wrote.
