Controversial Nigerian musician and internet personality Speed Darlington has escalated his running feud with Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, threatening to physically attack his colleague whenever their paths cross.
Speaking during a recent broadcast interview on Yanga FM Lagos, the musician popularly known as Akpi stated unequivocally that there is no cordial relationship between him and Burna Boy, warning that he will not hesitate to initiate a physical confrontation.
Musician Expresses Desire for Official Ring Fight Following Carter Efe Match
Addressing his relationship with the Afrobeats star during the interview, Speed Darlington declared that he would jump on Burna Boy if they ever happened to be in the same venue together.
“Me and Burna Boy have no relationship,” Speed Darlington stated during the broadcast. “If Burna Boy enters any room that I am present in, I will fight and jump on him.”
He further revealed his desire to take the feud into a formal setting, expressing hope that Burna Boy would agree to face him in a boxing match following his scheduled fight against content creator Carter Efe.
“If I win the forthcoming boxing match between me and Carter Efe, I hope Burna Boy will be next,” he added.
