Grammy-winning Nigerian artist expands his luxury supercar fleet with one of the world’s most exclusive hypercars.

Grammy-winning Nigerian musician Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has officially taken delivery of his customized Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+.

The arrival of the ultra-rare hypercar, valued at approximately N9 billion ($5.5 million), represents one of the most expensive automotive purchases by an African entertainer.

Rare Automotive Masterpiece Joins Elite Collection

The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ is renowned as one of the fastest production vehicles in automotive history, capable of reaching speeds exceeding 300 miles per hour.

With production strictly limited to 30 units worldwide, the vehicle features bespoke interior finishes and custom exterior detailing tailored to the artist’s specifications.

Burna Boy previously teased the purchase on social media before confirming its delivery through video footage showing the unboxing and inspection of the vehicle.

Delivery details of the hypercar

The hypercar joins an already extensive luxury garage that includes a Ferrari 812 GTS, a Lamborghini Urus, a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and a Maybach S-Class.

Culture, Luxury, and Global Influence

The acquisition highlights the immense financial success and global reach of contemporary Afrobeats artists on the world stage.

Over the past five years, major international tours, stadium headlining shows, and record-breaking streaming numbers have catapulted top-tier African musicians into top-earning global performers.

While luxury automobile purchases among high-net-worth individuals routinely spark public discussion in Nigeria regarding economic contrasts, music industry analysts view the purchase as a sign of the lucrative commercial power of the African music export market.

Automobile delivery specialists have completed final safety and clearance checks, with the vehicle expected to be housed in the artist’s primary residence automotive facility.
