Submissions must be uploaded digitally through the official awards web portal to qualify for screening by international adjudicators.
The anniversary main event will run from May 18 through May 23, 2027, in Lagos, Nigeria.
Eligible creative works must have been produced and released between August 10, 2025, and January 10, 2027.
The grand finale ceremony will be broadcast live across eighty-four countries, connecting millions of global viewers to continental soundscapes.
Organizers emphasized that the portal welcomes entries from both emerging independent talents and established superstars across regional markets.
Following the closing date, pre-screening and collation of submitted entries will take place from January 11 to January 14.
An international jury panel representing Africa’s five sub-regions will review qualified entries before nominees are announced globally on January 29.
Public voting will commence online from February 21, 2027, continuing up until May 21 before the final ceremony.

Promotional activities are scheduled for London, Windhoek, Cotonou, Nairobi, Accra, Paris, alongside Nigerian cities Warri and Port Harcourt.
