Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has sparked conversations on social media after sharing a video showing the process behind her latest facial transformation, coming just weeks after the end of her marriage to actor Bobby Maris.
The actress documented the procedure from her initial consultation and preparation through the various treatments she underwent.
According to Ogbodo, she opted for threads, fillers and PDO treatments to lift and contour her face, restore lost volume, reduce the appearance of lines and achieve a fresher, more youthful and well-rested appearance without undergoing surgery.
Explaining her decision, the actress said she believes people should feel free to improve aspects of their appearance that they are unhappy with.
She explained that although she loves her natural appearance and has no problem with her face, she believes there is nothing wrong with making changes when the opportunity to do so is available.
Her decision has attracted particular attention because it came shortly after she confirmed that her marriage to Bobby Maris had ended.
In July, Ogbodo revealed that she was no longer willing to continue the marriage after eight years together. She subsequently spoke about the heartbreak she experienced and appealed to the public for compassion as she concentrated on her children and the next chapter of her life.
Ogbodo’s History With Cosmetic Procedures
The actress has previously been open about undergoing cosmetic procedures.
Her latest facial treatments come about a year after she underwent a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) and what she described as a full mummy makeover.
Earlier this year, Ogbodo said she had no regrets about undergoing the BBL, explaining that she had considered the potential risks before making her decision.
Rather than keeping her procedures private until the recovery process is complete, the actress has consistently shared aspects of her cosmetic journey with her followers.

Ogbodo has also turned her personal experience with cosmetic procedures into a business venture through Baddie In Transit Consult, a platform she says provides clients with information, research and guidance relating to cosmetic surgery.
