Speaking during a recent industry interview, the stand-up veteran explained that hosting mega events like his annual AY Live requires multi-million naira budgets just to cover music performance fees and related logistics.

According to AY, booking top-charting Afrobeats artistes in Nigeria now requires tens of millions of naira per appearance.
