An aircraft is expected, then the expected becomes, “We are still working on it.”
A new partnership is announced with excitement that you start Dusting your CV for your aviation happily ever after. Then somehow, everyone is back to business as usual.
To be fair, aviation is complicated. Things change and quickly so.. Aircraft arrangements fall through. Approvals could take time. Commercial decisions evolve and the aviation markets can humble even the best business plan developers but here is where the tea gets interesting.
What happens in the space between the announcement and the outcome? That blank space is often where the real story lives but beyond the humor, this is a serious lesson here – in aviation, communication is not decoration.
When information is missing, people fill the gaps themselves. Industry observers start connecting dots. Before long, a simple operational issue can become a full-blown narrative. Sometimes all people want to hear is, “Here is what happened, here is what we are doing about it and here is when you can expect an update.”
Simple. No big grammar.
